A flow wrapper (also called a horizontal flow wrapper or HFFS machine) forms a continuous film tube around your product, then seals the ends and top to create a pillow-pack or fin-seal package. In a standard horizontal flow wrapper, the product is fed into the film former from the top. In an inverted configuration, the machine is flipped so product feeds from below, which can improve film tracking and sealing for certain product types and line layouts.
