POSITION DUTIES:
Cost products and services
Organize day-to-day business operations
Ensure adherence to safety regulations
Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Plan and maintain production schedules
Supervise staff or team
Identify community skills, assets, issues and needs
Help with scheduling and workflow
Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for packaging machinery assembly, integration, and testing
Plan and schedule production activities to meet project timelines, customer requirements, and delivery targets
Supervise production teams including technicians, assemblers, and department leads
Ensure all equipment is built according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
Identify and resolve production issues; lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Improve manufacturing processes through Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, service, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
Oversee machine testing and preparation for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
Monitor production costs, resource allocation, and efficiency metrics
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies and company procedures
Other Information:
Work Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years as a Manufacturing Manager in a related setting
Minimum Education Required: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
