Four of the five Alberta cities in our coverage, Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Airdrie, run food and beverage plants that portion product by weight before it gets bagged. A multihead weigher splits incoming product across a ring of heads, tests the combinations against a target weight, and drops the closest match down into a bagger that forms the film, fills it, and seals both ends in a single cycle.
The fifth city we cover, Lethbridge, runs a frozen foods line, and cold product behaves differently on a packaging line. It is harder on film seals and less consistent to portion by weight, so those builds usually add a metal detector at the back end and sometimes a case packer to handle the cartons. Checkweighers confirm every bag hits declared weight before anything moves further down the line.
We open every Alberta account with a free consultation, because the right machine depends on what the plant is actually running. We do not crate a machine until it has proven itself here on the plant's own product, and once installed we train the crew that will operate the equipment day to day and stay reachable for parts and service long after that.
