Combination weighing sets the pace on the Iowa lines we support. Three of the four cities in our Iowa coverage are food and beverage operations, and on a snack or ingredient line the multihead weigher is the honest bottleneck, since the bagger underneath can only cycle as fast as the weigher finds an in-spec combination of heads. We pair those weighers with vertical form fill seal baggers for pillow bag work and with pre-made pouch machines when the format has to stand upright at retail. The fourth city in our coverage runs powder and granular product, which moves the metering to auger filling. An auger turning inside a hopper displaces a fixed volume per revolution, so accuracy comes down to keeping the bulk density of the powder consistent, and agitation in the hopper does that job.
Plants in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, and Sioux City all get the same sequence from us. A free consultation up front, a machine specified around the actual product, factory acceptance testing on purchased machines before anything ships, then installation, operator training, and parts and service for the years after. Build engineering happens in Mississauga outside Toronto, customer experience runs from Tampa, and the two together cover all of North America.
