Our five Minnesota cities split across four different industries. Minneapolis and Saint Paul run food and beverage operations, Duluth runs a powder and granular line, Rochester covers confectionery, and Bloomington covers frozen foods. That is one of the more evenly spread mixes we support in any state, and it means the equipment list touches nearly every category we sell.
The Minneapolis and Saint Paul accounts run a bagger downstream of a weigher. Duluth relies on auger filling, which meters powder by screw revolution rather than by weight combination, since fine powder does not sit still long enough on a weigher's scale plate to portion reliably. Rochester packages confectionery on a flow wrapper, wrapping film horizontally around each bar or molded piece rather than dropping it into a preformed bag, and Bloomington's frozen product runs colder and rougher on film seals than a typical line, so that build gets a metal detector downstream of the bagger as an extra contamination check.
Machines do not come up in a Minnesota conversation until we have covered the product first, in a free no cost consultation. We test every purchased machine against the real product before it ever ships. Installation and operator training continue once the line is running, and the whole process is backed by engineering based in Mississauga, outside Toronto, and Tampa hosts the customer experience group that stays involved once a machine is running.
