Ventura's Mission-era downtown sits a short drive from a working brewery and the citrus and avocado packing operations that supply Ventura County growers. We fit VFFS baggers and case packers to that kind of regional food production.
Ventura's downtown still centers on its Mission-era core, a beach city on the Pacific about 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles where tourism and surf culture carry more of the economy than heavy industry does. That still leaves room for real packaging equipment demand nearby. A brewery inside Ventura runs its own production facility and taproom, brewing and canning beer on site rather than trucking it in from another county. Nine miles away in Oxnard, a 230,000-square-foot facility ripens and packs avocados grown across the region. About 14 miles inland in Santa Paula, a separate grower-owned operation packs its own citrus and avocado crop. Three products, three packing lines, all within a short drive of Ventura.
Our automatic case packers pick up where the Oxnard operation's ripening rooms leave off, casing and palletizing avocados against a harvest window nobody else controls, and our Mars Series VFFS baggers cover any run shipped as bagged fruit instead of loose cartons. The Ventura brewery already runs its own canning line; our case packers handle the palletizing step behind it, load after load, without losing a shift to changeover. The Santa Paula packer runs that same casing math on citrus, sizing pallets to whatever the week's harvest sends through. Seal integrity can't slip on any of the three. Each grower or brewer keeps its own recipe or picking schedule; our job is casing and palletizing it at that pace. A case study on our site walks through how a food producer scaled production with this kind of automation, and our locations page for California and our food and beverage industry page cover the broader picture PLAN IT serves. Our full solutions page shows how a bagger and a case packer run as one line. The Ventura brewery, the Oxnard packer, and the Santa Paula grower all sit inside our install and service territory already, with machines in stock for any of the three.
