Maine manufacturers get the same equipment range we sell everywhere else in North America, VFFS baggers, flow wrappers, auger fillers, multihead weighers, and stick pack and sachet machines among them, each one sized and configured to whatever the plant actually produces.
The right machine depends on the product going through it. A bagger forms film into a tube around product dropping from a weigher or filler above it, sealing both ends before cutting a finished pack free. A flow wrapper does the same job horizontally, drawing film around a solid item rather than dropping product through a form tube. Multihead weighers portion by combination, auger fillers meter by screw revolution, and checkweighers, metal detectors, and x-ray inspection confirm weight and screen for contamination before product reaches a case packer or palletizer at the end of the line.
Every Maine project starts with a free consultation, and the machine gets built from that conversation rather than pulled from a catalog. We run the customer's product through the machine here before it ever leaves the shop, and once it arrives we handle the install, train the operators who will run it, and stay on for parts and service long after the machine is running.
