Colorado Springs is about to become one of the country's newest beverage-manufacturing hubs. A beverage company is investing $475 million in a new 620,000-square-foot bottling facility in the southeast part of the city, set to open in 2028 and replace an aging plant that had run for 90 years in Denver. Once it's running, the plant is expected to produce more than 230 beverages across roughly 60 brand lines, and each of those lines needs packaging automation that holds up through constant changeovers. Every changeover costs uptime. We build and integrate the Mars Series VFFS baggers, flow wrappers, and case packers that beverage and food plants use to keep multiple SKUs moving, plus the checkweighers and metal detectors that catch problems before product reaches a truck.
Food production in Colorado Springs runs well past bottling. A contract food manufacturer on Garden of the Gods Road produces bakery fillings, beverage concentrates, sauces, syrups, and food toppings for other brands, work that runs on accurate auger and powder filling, multihead weighing, and pouch or sachet packaging rather than one-size-fits-all equipment. A local craft brewery adds a different packaging demand curve again, bottling and canning runs that need flexible, smaller-batch automation instead of a line built for one product only. A 60-brand bottling schedule and a small-batch craft run need different changeover speeds, and we build lines for both. If your operation is scaling alongside that beverage boom, the equipment we build is ready to integrate now, not after the next capacity review.
