Hamilton earned its steel-capital reputation honestly. Two integrated steel producers based here turn out roughly sixty percent of Canada's steel, and one plant alone employs about 7,300 people and accounts for close to thirty percent of the country's flat-rolled sheet steel, feeding automotive, construction, appliance, and packaging industries. Our packaging equipment serves Hamilton's own food and beverage manufacturers directly. Mars Series vertical form fill seal baggers and case packers run snack, bakery, and beverage-adjacent product through a bagging or pouching stage and then into shipping cases at line speed.
That manufacturing identity goes back further than steel. A major consumer-goods manufacturer opened a plant in Hamilton in 1914, its first outside the United States, and a packaged-foods maker followed in 1922 with the same kind of move, both drawn by the same industrial base that still makes the Toronto-Hamilton corridor the most industrialized region in Canada. Manufacturing has led the local economy for most of that history, and it still anchors Hamilton's plant floor even as the 2010s brought a real shift toward services. The consumer-goods plant and the packaged-foods plant that anchored those two waves of investment don't run the same package: one boxes household product for retail shelves, the other cases jarred and pouched food for grocery distribution, and we size the bagging or case-packing line to whichever a Hamilton manufacturer needs. We supply Mars Series VFFS bagging systems for that mix, along with automatic case packers that box whatever comes off the bagger without pulling someone onto the line to do it by hand. We don't keep a Hamilton address, but our team handles machine selection, installation, and ongoing support for manufacturers throughout the area.
