Highlands Ranch is the largest unincorporated community in Colorado, a Douglas County suburb built for residents, not industry. Nearby breweries and tea producers still need our VFFS baggers and case packers to keep bottled and boxed product moving.

Highlands Ranch never grew up around a mill, a mine, or a rail yard the way plenty of Colorado towns did. The community was planned from the ground up as a 22,000-acre residential suburb in Douglas County, about 13 miles south of downtown Denver, and it has grown into the largest unincorporated community in the state, with subdivisions and retail centers standing in for the industrial base other towns built their economies on. None of the region's packaging equipment runs inside its borders, but the food and beverage industry isn't far. A large brewery in Golden, about 27 miles northwest, runs high-volume beer production, and a tea manufacturer in Boulder, roughly a 45-minute drive away, packages tea bags at serious scale.
Golden's brewery runs its canning line at genuine high-volume speed, and Boulder's tea plant bags tea at the same kind of scale forty-five minutes down the road. Our Mars Series VFFS baggers keep pace with either bagging line, while automatic case packers load the cartons that get product onto pallets and out the door. Line speed matters more than square footage. The brewer's recipe and the tea blend are theirs to keep; we know how to can or carton either one at scale. Our food and beverage industry page and our VFFS and case-packer categories cover the machines suited to breweries and tea operations at this scale, our locations page for Colorado covers the wider Front Range footprint, and our full solutions page shows how the two run as a single line rather than separate purchases. Highlands Ranch itself hosts none of that equipment, but the 13 miles to Denver and the short runs out to Golden and Boulder keep install and service crews close to both plants.
