Longview is adding a $200 million dairy and beverage plant alongside an established prepared-foods producer. We supply Mars Series VFFS baggers, case packers, and PackMaster palletizing systems for growing food lines.
A family-owned producer is building Longview's newest major manufacturing facility, a $200 million-plus plant at the city's North Business Park, its third, expected to bring 150 jobs when operations start in 2027. The plant will package a shelf-stable dairy and plant-based beverage line at scale, running extended-shelf-life clean-fill technology for private-label and co-packing customers, a process that demands precise, sealed packaging equipment rather than standard bottling lines. Longview already has practice with this kind of buildout: a prepared-foods company cooking and packaging frozen and fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads took over a former manufacturing site here through a $2.55 million expansion that added 120 jobs, and the city's economic development office lists agribusiness and manufacturing among its targeted industry clusters.
We supply exactly the kind of line equipment both of these operations need. Mars Series VFFS baggers form, fill, and seal pouches for the beverage and prepared-food lines, automatic case packers box the output right behind them, and PackMaster palletizing systems carry it the rest of the way onto the pallet. We keep no office in Longview, but the same VFFS, case-packing, and palletizing equipment we supply to East Texas food and beverage producers is built for scaling runs like the ones both of these plants are starting. Our case study on a food producer's own production scale-up walks through moving from a single shift to full capacity. If you're scaling a beverage or prepared-foods line, our solutions page has the full lineup.
