Port Saint Lucie grew up on rooftops, not factories, but Tradition Commerce Park is changing that. As distribution tenants move in, we supply case packers, PackMaster cobot palletizers, and Mars Series VFFS baggers built to scale with them.

Tradition Commerce Park landed a $38 million, 400,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center in 2019, the clearest sign yet that this city is starting to need real packaging equipment. That's new. Port Saint Lucie's economy was never built on production lines. A developer bought roughly 40,000 acres of ranch, farm, and fishing-camp land here in 1958 and built a planned residential city from scratch; it incorporated in 1961 and grew fast on rooftops and retirees rather than factories. When the housing market collapsed in 2007-09, unemployment hit 10.5 percent and the city logged roughly 11,000 foreclosures in 2008 alone, proof that construction, not manufacturing, has always carried this local economy.
The adjacent research park now runs biomedical research focused on drug discovery and immunology. Neither is a food plant, but together they show a city finally building real industrial infrastructure instead of just subdivisions. As more distribution tenants move in, they'll need packaging equipment that scales with them. PLAN IT supplies Mars Series VFFS baggers for bagged and pouched goods, automatic case packers and erectors for outbound freight, and PackMaster cobot palletizers built to keep a lean distribution floor moving without a large crew. Whatever a Tradition Commerce Park tenant is running through its line, PLAN IT handles the packaging end: bagging, boxing, and building pallets ready for the next truck out of Florida. A new Tradition Commerce Park tenant can spec a line from our food and beverage packaging solutions or browse our full range of solutions before the first pallet ships.
