Sherbrooke needs packaging automation at two very different scales, and its manufacturing base has run at both for decades. A medical-kit manufacturing plant has operated in Sherbrooke since 1983, employing about 150 people to produce IV drug and solution administration kits sold across Canada, certified to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001. Four decades in, it still runs. A tissue-paper manufacturer is now building out a mill in the city aimed at more than 130,000 metric tonnes of production a year, part of a push to make Sherbrooke a major hub for that category. The city's Fleurimont industrial park groups more than two dozen companies employing over 760 people, spanning boiler and burner manufacturing and medical-kit production. Smaller food processors also remain active in the area, including an automated tofu producer using Quebec-grown soybeans and a frozen meat and fish processor, even as some regional food-processing plants have closed in recent years.
ISO-certified medical-kit lines can't absorb a mis-fill, and closing that risk is the job our health and medical packaging equipment was built for. Our stick pack and sachet machines package single-dose liquids and powders without introducing contamination risk, and our EliteWeigh checkweighers confirm every kit or component is filled correctly before it ships, which matters under ISO-certified quality systems. Your quality system sets the tolerance; we build the line that holds it. We supply and integrate this equipment rather than leaving a manufacturer to sort it out alone, with in-stock machines available for producers who need a line running before the next audit cycle. Our solutions team works between those two directions, tissue-paper production scaling toward 130,000 tonnes a year on one side and ISO-audited medical kits on the other, sizing equipment to whichever one a Sherbrooke producer runs.
